Thank you to our youth group for being our ushers this past Sunday! And thank you to the ushers who took them under their wing! (Don Poland, Kenny Love, etc.) It's such a blessing to incorporate our young people into our worship, on all levels.....and they did a wonderful job!

And thank you to Wesley Crouch for his sax solo; wonderful as always! God is truly working in our young people; let's continue to lift them in our prayers!!

Craft Nights

The E100 Challenge

The E100 Challenge has begun! The Bible in its entirety can and is extremely overwhelming, and yet, we so often let this deter us from reading God's very letter to us. Through God's word, we meet with him and connect with him, learning about what is, what was, and what's coming. I like to get a hot cup of coffee, sit, and quietly savor all that God is saying to me for the day. (Especially when it's snowing!)

There are so many reasons to be excited about God, His word, and this opportunity to read together as a family. This morning, Lydia read our first passage to us! What a gift that was, and I realized how important it is to incorporate the whole family on this journey that takes us through 100 key passages. In the thick of all of the tiny, tiny words on the pages, is the broader, most romantic, beautiful, and jaw-dropping story of a God who SO loved his children! That he joined us.....and saved us. And now we, have the honor of serving him. This is our reality, this is the story of the world, and we really can be excited and humbled to our knees at the awesomeness of it all.

This week we're reading about the beginning! We're reading the first 5 readings, and if you didn't get your punch card....here are the readings so you can't dodge it! ;)

May Jesus be our first thought each morning, our last thought at night, and our constant guide in between. May 2012 be a year of courage, strength, peace, and may all of 2012 be HIS and for his glory! May he become greater and we become less! Happy New Year!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Lynd House

Today has been a very full day for our church family! We had the Norseman Singers from Eaton Elementary come over and sing for us, Keenagers had their holiday luncheon, and in the afternoon a few went to sing to the residents of Lynd House. And festivities continue as the women gather tonight to celebrate Florentina and her recent citizenship!

(We had one snoozer.)

Praise God, for all that He has done, is doing, and will do!

Treehouse Renovation

As many of you already know, our loft which we use for our children's classes, has been under construction for a few weeks. Changes were needed in order to assure safety for the children and workers with a second exit at the other end in case of a fire. Here's an interior look at the loft extension. We're excited about all of the possibilities for this space! But not as excited as the children are! :)

Christmas Morning

There will be no children's classes on Christmas morning, but the younger ones can snuggle in and join us in the nursery for a special showing of the new Veggie Tales Christmas movie! Send a snuggly blankie with them! :)

Church Building

Look what's happening in our backyard! :) A new, fenced in playground for the kids is in the works! Thank you to Gatlin Hines for leading this for his Eagle Scout Project! The kids are SO excited!

Construction is also nearly done on the extension of the upstairs loft. Due to fire safety, a second exit was needed. Soon, our kids will be able to have their space back and it will be safer and more colorful than ever!

Above is the external view, and below is the inside view.

Paint and supplies are up there and waiting, and all walls have been labeled by color. Anyone can jump up there and put in an hour or two of painting whenever you'd like! Feel free to get it started! We will be working together this coming Saturday, Nov. 19th, starting at 8am, for whoever would like to come out then!

There are several small jobs that can even be done on a different day if you are unable to come on 11/19! State Youth Convention

Fall Party and Kids

What a beautiful evening we had out at Claudia and George Moorman's last night! We're so glad so many of you were able to come out; truly it's one of the highlights of the year for some of us. We had picture perfect weather to go with a glowing fire, delicious food, a scavenger hunt through the woods, a hayride, and even rides on George's custom "people mover." All of that mixed with good company, made for one perfect fall evening. Thank you George and Claudia!

Here's a snapshot of our kids' Sunday school class! Aren't they so adorable?! We've been learning about Esther, and they're doing a great job keeping up with the line of the story!

And here's Levi and Delaney working hard on their Ark's during the Sprouts class :) I think Delaney's actually making a birthday cake for Grandpa. :)

We sang music while we colored and learned. Children are so precious!

What a colorful, bright, joyful morning of worship we had this past Sunday! It's never a surprise why Jesus requested that the little ones come to him; they provide a form of worship just in being them! Our walls were filled with little ones, their laughter, song, and art on Sunday. And we thank all of you who were able to be with us on this special Sunday! Little Blessings is truly a beautiful ministry to our community, and it's wonderful to have the team and children with us on Sunday mornings.

FamilyTimes™ is designed to help equip parents with easy to use tools to make the most of everyday moments together. This tool is based on the biblical model that teaches that the home should be the primary place where a child learns about God.

Here’s what the bible says to parents about teaching virtues to their children…

“Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up,” (Deuteronomy 6:7).

FamilyTimes™ Virtue Packs provide activities to be used once a week during each of these four family times--MealTime, DriveTime, BedTime, and MorningTime. All of this is designed to give parents simple ways to help their kids grow in faith and character.

The resources you will find in the Virtue Pack are designed to be strategically placed within your home as reminders of a specific virtue and its related principles each month. They should be placed in the location that corresponds with the time they are to be used. These pieces will be constant reminders to you and your children and help you to prioritize each of the four FamilyTimes™. As you go through the virtue pack you will notice that it introduces you to all the pieces and explains the concepts in more detail.

The plan is based on the Hebrew method of teaching children found in Deuteronomy 6:7. It helps parents reprioritize four significant times that are routinely within every home: BedTime, MealTime, DriveTime, and Morning Time.

The FamilyTimes™ tools do not involve preparation nor do they have to be pulled off a book shelf. They are used during the four significant family times. The Art of Marriage

Last year, those of us who attended the Art of Marriage at Northside Church of God, left ready to encourage every single couple in our lives to GO next year! It truly was THAT wonderful! It's not simply for struggling marriages, young marriages, mature marriages.....it's for every single marriage. A lifelong committment takes time, tuning, and attention. This conference is the perfect way to do that, in a very safe, secure environment and for a very minimal price. You can't lose!

The sessions are all video-based, and all discussion is strictly between you and your spouse. You'll not be asked to share with any others.

Look for posters and times to come out, but we will start Friday evening September 23rd, we'll meet for a light breakfast in the morning on Saturday, lunch is provided Saturday, and everything will wrap up Saturday afternoon.

Call the church right away to reserve your spot, couples are signing up already! And yes, it is absolutely open to anyone, so invite anyone on your heart!

There is no battle more crucial than the fight for our homes, our families, and our marriages! A weekend like this is choosing to face that battle head on.......let's go!

For Everything, There is a Season...

Pastors Tim and Nikki announced Sunday morning that after much prayer and thought, they feel their time in Eaton is wrapping up and God has directed their paths elsewhere. They expressed their gratitude for their time here and love for our family. As they prepare to move on, please lift them in prayer and shower them with love! They will be missed greatly!! We will be comissioning them and sending them out with our love on their final Sunday with us, August 28th. Please be sure to join us on this special morning!

Please also be in prayer for our leadership, as they seek God's will moving forward. We want, in everything, to glorify Christ. We pray for wisdom in searching for our next staff member, that they would be the very one who God has planned for us!

Go Deeper This Fall!!

Whether we're ready to admit it or not, fall is coming! And this fall, we have really great opportunities for you and your family. Our goal is not to add clutter or more to busy schedules....but it is SO important to have time to grow deeper with each other and Christ. So here are a couple of ways to do that!

Starting Wednesday, September 7th, our family nights are back! Grab the kids, grab your neighbors, leave the cat....and come to the church at 5:30 for a hot meal (thank you to Glen and Chris Schwer for coordinating our meals!!)! $3/person or $10/family! 6:30 we have classes for all ages, from nursery on up. One of the adult classes will be based on a new movie coming out September 30th; this will be awesome!

7:30 is choir for those in love with music! :)

Women! Can you spare ONE evening every THREE weeks?! Next to a fireplace, on a cozy couch, sharing, studying, and talking with our women?? We all need this! Starting Tuesday, September 6th at 7pm, join us as we go deeper together! We'll be doing Beth Moore's study, "Breaking Free," and we'd love to have you! Books are being ordered soon; sign up at church or give the church a call at 765-396-3044! $15/workbook

Young Adults! Once each month we'll get together for some Mexican Food, childcare for little ones, and we'll be looking at how we can all have a Crazy Love for christ! We'll be kicking our fall off with rooting on our softball team, however, so watch for times on that. It'll be 8/25...we'll grab food and root our team on!

Our softball team is nearly unstoppable this year! They're doing great and knocked out another win tonight! Most importantly, all of the team and fans did such a good job of cheering for both sides, being courteous, and being good sportsmen/women. Some of our families are extra busy right now with the Delaware County Fair in full swing! Thank you for keeping them in your prayers, especially Christian Whitesel whose recovering from a broken wrist.

We hear that Ben Miller had a Champion Angus Heifer, Champion Senior Beef Showman, and a Champion Dorset Ewe! Congratulations Ben!! And Congratulations to Christian, who had a Champion Limi Heifer, Champion Limi Steer, and a Champion Feeder Calf! Congratulations Christian!! And thank you to Ben for stepping in to help as needed.

If you can't be there or did not know the families, let's still try and swamp them with cards of love and support!

Car Accident

Our community has suffered a deep tragedy in the loss of Jake Monroe and Myles Swoboda due to an automobile accident last evening. Dylon Strunk miraculously survived and is in recovery.

A tragedy of this magnitude will leave a wake of indescribable emotions and hurt for years to come for so many. It's so important that we be Christ's hands and feet in the community right now, being ever-present and available as needed. Above all, please lift these families in your prayers. For while we know there is truly no one or nothing that can bring real healing and recovery other than God himself, whose heart breaks with these families. He is present, and we must pray that He draw beauty from the ashes. May we reflect His love to our hurting Eaton.

Stay tuned for efforts being coordinated to help raise funds for each of the three families. We'd like to offer help towards the funeral arrangements and also Dylan's medical bills. If you feel led to donate, you may make your donation through the church or baseball assocation, and we will appropriately allocate the funds.

Thank you for your prayers and support. And for those hurting, we are here for you. Our building is a sanctuary for all; our home is yours.

Summer!

Summer's here for most of us and we've had some fun events already! Here's a peak at what's been happening.....

We were out in full force at the Eaton Antique Car Show! Thank you to Phil and Jessie Hines for our amazing tribute to all of our military, past, present, and future!

The youth were AMAZING!! They worked so hard to provide so many fun games. I can't speak for anyone else, but Lydia and Levi THANK them for literally making their day.

And as the heat rose, so did their ingenuity. They began wheeling coolers of popsicles and water around to the hot crowds. Shelby even turned the apple dunktank into a place to dip hot heads for a dollar :) Way to be creative crew!

The rummage was a great success! Thank you to Jim and Sandy for helping so much, thank you to all who helped set up, and thank you to all who donated. Many were blessed, including a Muncie church who was so excited to get a few boxes of "new" choral music and a few children's tables. God is good!

Speaking of the youth, they had a night of worship last night that I hear was amazing! If anyone has pictures, let me know! For many of the youth, it was their first night of summer break, and they chose to spend their evening worshipping their God! Now THAT is awesome!

While our Wednesday nights are paused for the summer, that does NOT being church is stopped! Use that time to be with family, be with community, visit a nursing home, pick weeds in the park.....church never stops. Be creative! Let me know how you use that time! (jenessaden@yahoo.com) Youth, there is still going to be an open gym time on Wednesdays, 1-4pm.

This morning was the first official story time at the Eaton Public Library and it was a great success!! The doors opened at 10 and we still had readers nearly 2 hours later!

Look at all of the bookworms signed up for the reading program! And this is just day TWO!

Thanks to so many generous donations, we have a full prize cabinet!

How does this all tie into the workings of the church?? Because we ARE the church! And Jesus called us to be in the world. As his hands and feet, when we read to children, have community with them and their family, love them.....we are being His church. All that is done at the library is to show Christ's love without words, and God is doing wonderful things. Please uplift this ministry in your prayers. The grand ending of the reading program will be at our own Back 2 School Bash, which is something to have on your radar! It will be a really great day, and please pray for sunshine this year!! :)

Crazy Love

Even if you are unable to attend in person, we have ways for you to connect more deeply, with others and God! Crazy Love by Francis Chan is a book several of us are currently studying, and we have a Facebook page designated for further discussion (search "Eaton Crazy Love"). Jump in, read with us, and discuss with us! We know how busy lives are, and yet, it is SO important to keep studying and growing deeper!

We also have a group discussing it Sunday mornings at 9, and the evening women's group will be meeting on June 28th to have supper together and discuss. ALL of these are options for you; but we want YOU studying and growing on whatever level you can do!

Graduation Fever!

There's always so much electricity and excitement in the air as we reach the end of a school year! We have sweet little kindergartner's who accomplished their first year in school all the way up to Senior's facing the wide open spaces of their futures! We have graduates of all levels and we are going to honor them on Sunday, June 5th during our morning service at 10:15. Please join us! Bring family and friends, and let's celebrate together!

Another crew we're celebrating are our teachers! Within 3 days, we collected the most beautiful spread of cookies!! We couldn't believe it! Thank you to those who brought them in! With the kids, we made heaping platters to bring to the high school, middle school, Eaton Elementary, Little Blessings, AND we have a bunch for Sunday morning! WOW! And the kids did an AMAZING job coloring a banner and making cards!

Deeper Still!

Ladies, we have a WONDERFUL opportunity for you! Not too long ago, several of our women finished a study called, "Faithful, Abundant, True" that was filmed at the Deeper Still Conference in Orlando. Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilia Reyes were the three speakers/teachers, and the study was truly amazing!

Beth, Kay, and Priscilia are gathering together for one last conference, this June in Louisville, KY! It's a one night conference, from June 10-11th. We have five women in already, and we want to know if you'd like to join us! Total costs are still being figured, but we do know that registration is $79 (includes lunch on Saturday).

Please contact Marcia Brown or the church ASAP if you'd like to join us; hotels are filling quickly and tickets are selling out.

I know it's hard to take time and $ away from already busy schedules, but I truly believe this will be worth it and so good for us!

My sister-in-law gave me a book recently called, "The Family Dinner," and I've been inspired anew to sit down as a family in the evenings and make dinners together a priority. The list of benefits is long, but at the very least, it's time for us to connect. As I was talking about it with the evening LIFT ladies last night, it occurred to me on a whole new level, the importance of our church family meal. For so many, this may be literally the one meal where they actually sit down, face to face with others, over a hot plate of food. Whether it's our youth who run in every week, or it's simply our busy, working families. This is ONE meal, each week, where we can sit, pause, connect, and eat some hot food.

It's not the last time you'll hear us say it, but our Wednesday night family meal is a vital, vital ministry and you just have to experience it to fully understand. If you haven't, please join us!

Keeping the meal running is no simple task, however, and we could use a few more willing hands. Simply bringing in a dish, coming one hour early to put food out, or staying to clean up are small things that make it all possible. Please let Kris Lechien know if you can help at all; it's a worthy cause, I assure you!

Princesses and Cowboys!

I don't yet have pictures of our Cowboys, but they're coming! Both the Princesses and the Cowboys had such special evenings last night!! It was a movie night/special event to remember, and again I thank everyone who played a part!

Here are pictures from the Sweetpea Beauty evening!

At 7pm, the princesses of all ages starting arriving by "carriage." You should have seen their sweet, glowing faces!

We had snacks, thanks to the Tuesday morning LIFT ladies!!

And we had four stations, with fingernail painting, crafts, and coloring pages. Thank you Robin and Shelby for painting Princess nails!

We dined while serenaded to Princess music :) Oh it was fun.

Princesses come in all ages you know! Thank you to Miss Kay for helping me host refreshments and clean up!

Then we all went to the "royal palace" where Florentina had worked her decorating magic.

The girls got to come up on stage and watch two tales of princesses who learned about that true beauty is within and they are God's priceless creation.

It was a good night!! :)

Ash Wednesday

Last night we had a bustling sanctuary as our youth, children, babies, and adults gathered for an Ash Wednesday service. Pastor Nikki lead us as we wrote our sins on paper, burned them at the altar, and then were marked with the ashes. What a beautiful, tangible display of the cleansing Christ offers, and the unity of being one as a family.

It was beautiful.

As we've entered the Lenten season, turn your hearts to Christ. Let Him search you, cleanse you, and let this be a season of faithful, deliberate focus on our savior.

For weeks you heard us promote the Art of Marriage, a two-day marriage conference we were going to co-host with Northside Church of God in Muncie. And for weeks, you heard us tell you it would be awesome. And guess what! It was! All praise and thanks to God who truly blessed the 20 couples present this past weekend.

We are so excited, as a matter of fact, that we hope to offer the conference again, not too far down the road. This time it will be in Eaton and most likely in the fall. For all of you who were on the fringe this time around; step off of the fringe and dive in. And for those of you who knew you couldn't come, step onto the fringe and consider it for the fall! We will do whatever we can to help eliminate barriers; finances, childcare, etc. Talk to us; we believe in it that much.

The Art of Marriage

A few months after our first baby, Lydia, was born, Andy's parents gave us the gift of two tickets to a marriage conference through Family Life ministries.

It was so kind of them! And yet, I distinctly remember thinking, "I only wish I could give the tickets to a couple who is in greater need than

us."

We had been married five years and were blessed with a very healthy, strong, loving marriage. We now had our Lydia, and our little family felt healthier than ever. I knew I'd enjoy the break from parenting for the day, but I truly didn't think we really needed the conference. Wasn't it only for strained and troubled marriages???

My misconceptions were shattered and blown out of the water, and it's why Andy and I continue to be such huge advocates of deliberately and proactively caring for our marriage and encouraging others to do the same. What we found at the conference was that we DID need this! At times, we looked at each other in awe, wondering how the speakers had managed to spy on our lives before they prepared for the conference. We laughed, we learned, we cried. Our already healthy marriage was strengthened, and there's no doubt we left with more tools in our belt for the day rocky times would hit. They always do, none of us are immune.

We take care of our family. We keep our cars tuned up. We give to church, little league, school, our jobs, and on and on and on...... Even with our best attempts, our marriages so often are neglected and we're in reactive mode...tackling problems as they occur and not preventing them with care.

There isn't a single couple out there who would not benefit from this weekend. Whether you're engaged, newlywed, at the seven-year-itch, or

are stacking decades in the bank. We ALL need to spend one weekend minimum each year, focused on the mate God has matched us with. THIS weekend is just that. You share only with your spouse; never are you asked to share with the larger group. It's about you, your spouse, and the one who created you.

Make this weekend a priority! Sign up before the seats are filled and join us! Andy and I will be there, learning more! It's not just for you, it's for your kids, and their kids, and their kids.....

What a beautiful and special morning of worship we had yesterday morning. Thank you, thank you to all who played a part in pulling the details together for the cantata!! There are too many to list, but a special thank you goes to Pastor Michael for using his gifts, talents, and time to lead us in such a majestic way into worship. It felt like a slice of heaven!

We also celebrated the retirement of Helen Brown. After 43 years of singing with the choir, this was Miss Helen's final cantata. What a gift she is to us all!

We also had a huge crowd for the Youth Chili Lunch and Basket Auction! $1,400 was raised for our sweet youth, who did such a good job serving us all! And thank you to Jessie Hines for the delicious chili, Jack Tapy for his auctioneering skills, and to everyone for coming and supporting our youth!

We had an AMAZING turn out for our 2nd Trunk or Treat!! We gave out 300 glow bracelets in one hour! Thank you SO much to all who came out! With 13 vehicles, an inflatable spider, a giant Frankenstein, glowing torches, spooky music, and GOBS of candy, we had one successful Trunk or Treat. Most importantly, we sent a positive, loving message to the community!!

You may have recently noticed these two hard at work behind the church. David Poe and Richard Morris are working on resolving some drainage issues for the church. Sitting at the bottom of a long, gradual hill, the church has had water issues for years and it is no small task to take on!

Thank you so much to these two for the hours they're putting in! This project is extremely important for so many reasons. When they're done, the youngest Little Blessings kids will have room near the church to play, without climbing stairs!

It's Children of Promise Sunday! Pastor Andy shared this morning that there are currently 1,000 children living in sub-poverty conditions whose lives will be changed with a loving sponsor. Parents, this is an amazing teaching opportunity! This is a wonderful way to incorporate your children and show them the importance of sharing our blessings with those less fortunate.

Pastor Nikki was able to do just that, and tomorrow night she'll be sharing about her two week trip to Isreal. Family Nights Are Underway!

Wednesday night was the kick-off for our fall family nights series! The church buzzed with happy chatter and busy little feet. It was wonderful!

Frankie's supplied our delicious beef and noodles over mashed potatoes for our 5:30 meal. Thank you Frankie's!! And, a big thank you to Anna and Linda for helping pull the rest of the meal together!

We're all trying to figure out the details, so their help was so appreciated! We could use just a few more hands to put things out and help clean up; let us know if you can help!

Through

Just days ago, our dear friend, Janelle, was diagnosed with cancer. Janelle is a young, active, healthy mother- not exactly the kind of person you think of when your hear that terrible word. When she first heard the news, she was crushed. I'm sure that in those early moments, her heart was full of questions as she tearfully cried out to God. Why would He allow this to happen to His precious child?

But, in the days since her initial diagnosis, an amazing thing has happened. Not only has God given Janelle an incredible assurance of His peace and joy in the midst of this trial, but He has also given her the strength to use her circumstances to give Him glory. She writes...

“I have had people tell me that they are feeling challenged to find a more intimate relationship with God. I have heard from people that are finding encouragement in their own lives because of the faith God is giving me as I walk through this difficult section of mine. I want to be clear. I take NO credit for any of this. I am just thankful that God sees me fit to use my life for something bigger than I could ever have planned or imagined.”

She continues...

“I long for your prayers. I know that I desperately need them right now. But I want to ask that each time you pray for me, would you also pray for someone in your life who does not yet have a relationship with God? I know that as we do this together God will gives us opportunities to encourage one another.”

Wow! Rather than surrender to fear and despair, she is choosing to praise God through it all. She chooses to trust in the goodness of her God even when she doesn't understand.

Janelle's attitude in the face of her cancer reminds me of the lyrics of a song written by Bill and Gloria Gaither called “Through.”

“When I saw what lay before me,

Lord, I cried, “What will you do?”

I thought He would just remove it,

but He gently led me through.”

“Without fire, there's no refining.

Without pain, no relief.

Without flood, there's no rescue.

Without testing, no belief.”

“Through the fire, through the flood,

through the water, through the blood,

through the dry and barren places,

through life's dense and maddening mazes,”

“through the pain and through the glory,

through we'll always tell the story,

of a God whose power and mercy will not fail to take us through.”

May the Lord take you through the challenges and trials that you are facing with His grace and mercy so that He may get the glory in every circumstance in your life.

We have so many exciting opportunities coming this fall! And women, that includes you! Starting on September 24th, we have set aside an evening to have supper together and to worship together. It will be a peaceful, restful evening where we can refu

el ourselves. We all need this and I pray you'll all mark that evening aside to join us! Invite family and friends!

Bring a dish to pass at 6 pm and relax for the rest of the evening! Cathy Howie will be our

guest and her music is the type you want to put on while sitting on a front porch, eyes closed, and sipping lemonade. She truly is gifted and her message for women is one we all need to hear!

And starting the first week of October, is our new bible study! Last fall I, Jenessa, was able to join Tina and the ladies in doing Beth Moore's study on Esther. It was life-changing for me! I can't express how blessed I was by that study and the time with the women. It will be worth your time; I truly believe it! Faithful, Abundant, and True is

a new study from Beth, and I can't wait to dig in.

This year we're meeting on the 1st and 3rd weeks, and you have the choice of a morning session or an evening session! Let's learn, study, and share life together!

Back To School Bash!

Well, on behalf of all the local farmers, we are thankful for the steady rain today. Trying to host an outdoor, community event in the steady rain, however, proved to be a bit of a challenge. The rain hit this morning strategically at just the "right" moment, after everything had been staked into place and the fun was scheduled to begin.

We huddled in the gazebo to stay dry, not sure of what to do.

Guests were coming, however, and somehow we had to figure things out. SO, thank God for the Family Life Center! We decided, we'd host lunch and face-painting indoors, while the rain moved on through.

We had a center full of happy (and maybe soaked) faces! God is GOOD!

Thank you to Gary and Lis for heading up the lunch, to all of their helpers, and to all who donated food! Helen Brown, your snicker doodles were a HIT!

After lunch, the rain paused!! A crew ran out to inflate the bounce houses, and we were able to go have some outdoor fun after all. And again we say it, God is GOOD!!

Nikki held her own, but she was no match for Tim. :)

Thank you to these two for putting in so much hard work for today. Nikki did such a great job in pulling everything together!

The kids had so much fun on the obstacle course! And actually, so did some of the adults!

Andy and I did joust, and you can see who won.

But you can also see who got the final word. ;)

Truly, God bless every one of you who prayed, contributed, and worked for this event. We fought through the challenges and many were blessed today! Praise God!

Our softball team won their second game of a double-header last night and did a great job!! Way to got team!!!!

They have just a couple of more games for the summer, so let's get a big crowd out there for those! The next game is this coming Tuesday at 6p.m. at Tuhey Park in Muncie.

Team, I want to get a group shot next week if possible!

Habitat Home and Back to School Bash!

The new Habitat for Humanity home is coming along in Eaton! Thank you so much to all who donated and to all who will be helping on August 7th! What an exciting blessing for this family and for our town.

Word is really starting to spread around down about the Back to School Bash in the park, on July 31st! Please help if you can and be sure to invite all of your friends!

Thank you to Troop 28 who presented our colors on the 4th of July! They did such a good job, and it perfectly set the stage for our morning together.

Open gym for the community kids is going really well! We can't thank our volunteers enough, who are making this such a fun addition to the kids' summers. Here they are making paper mache masks; how fun is that?!
