Up From the Grave He Arose!

Every Easter morning, our friend Richard calls and sings that hymn to us, even leaving it on our voicemail if we miss the call :) What a friend and what a perfect way to start Easter morning! Even though we officially celebrate our risen savior on Easter each year, we know that it is no less true every other day of the year. Today, He is risen! Tomorrow, He is risen! What a savior we have!

What a joy it will be to come together and worship on Easter morning. The choir is rehearsing for a cantata you won't want to miss. And we pray you can join us for more of the holy week activities (details to come). Slip on Jesus' dusty sandals, and journey with us to Jerusalem.

Kids Update

Truly exciting things are happening with our youth and middle school kids. Please remember to always keep Pastors Tim and Nikki in your prayers as they lead these young people! And please pray for the kids; what an amazing opportunity we have in these sweet young people.

The middle school kids are painting scenes in the life of Christ, and it is something to absolutely check out if you haven't. We hope to get the paintings up soon for all of you to see. What a gift art is, and what a perfect way for these children to learn about their savior!

The youth group is simply busting at the seams! Thank you to all who have helped in any way! They're a lively bunch, to say the least, but just imagine the effect they can have for Christ if we help funnel that energy. My goal, is to learn all of their names, a little at a time. :) How precious they are!

There you go, two more areas to be excited about in the life of our church :) But more importantly, two areas to truly lift up in prayer.
