To Our "Elves"

We've had many busy, helpful, "elves" helping us these days, in so many corners around church, and we just want to thank you!  It took many hands to get up our Christmas decorations this year, and the church looks so lovely!

 We also had several helping hands who have painted the Family Life Center, and added so much TLC in many details!  Thank you!!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like...

Christmas!! Our sanctuary looks more lovely than ever!! And we look so forward to worshipping our savior this season, in such a beautiful space. Thank you to all who helped!! :)

Fall 2012

We've had a busy Fall and it's time to do some catch up!

Little Blessings' Sunday was wonderful and the kids did such a wonderful job!!! :)


Our Fourth annual Trunk or Treat was a success and so much fun!!!

Baby Evelyn Garringer was dedicated! What a blessing the Garringer family is; may God bless them!

Party in the Park!

Today was a great day.  Today was an AWESOME day.  We had a HUGE crowd of beautiful, beautiful faces at Norseman Park today from 3-6p.m.  We had no where near enough hot dogs, and I think that's actually a beautiful thing.  :)  We went through over 250 snow cones, Tina painted little faces for all 3 hours without stopping, Jody the Clown and her buddies handed out balloons, the live music was fantastic, George and Claudia grilled our hot dogs for us, and the maybe the biggest hit was the giant inflatables.  Pastor Jason, talk about a great first event!  Now he's really set a high standard for himself!  Great job!  It was wonderful to be out and about together, in the sunshine, with the community, with praise music pumping.  Holy Spirit move in our sweet town, and let us not get in the way!  Thank you to ALL who played a part!

Sky VBS was an absolute, huge success, and our 46 (!!) volunteers made it possible!  We reached 70 kids in our tiny community, showed them Christ's love, and this is a big deal.  Please continue to just wrap these kids and their families in prayer, praying that they would indeed, "TRUST GOD!"  :)

We're also SO excited and praising God for the Hollar family!  We thank the search committee, who has been working since September, to prayerfully seek who God desired to bring to our team.  We truly believe that Jason, Megan, and Noah are the very answers to those countless prayers.  Their hearts line up with God's word and our work in Eaton.  Jason will be starting July 1st, and in this time of transition, we ask that everyone be lifting them in prayers and ready to jump in and help and welcome them!  God is good and we look so forward to watching God move in days and years to come!

We have the perfect event for your Friday night!  If you haven't seen Courageous, you really do want to!  And this is your chance to see if for free, on a big screen!  Friday, June 15th, 7p.m., in the sanctuary, come and join us!  All are welcome, and it's a wonderful, fitting way to start Father's Day weekend.

Sky!

We've had a full house this week!! The kids have been learning that anything is possible in God and no matter what, to trust him!! Thank you infinitely to our adults and youth who made this happen!

2012 Graduates!

We're so proud of all of our graduates!  They've worked so hard, and we thank God for each and every one of them!  Please join us this Sunday as we lift them in prayer and have lunch together afterwards!  We'll be dedicating our playground, celebrating our Grads, and praying for VBS!

Hollar Family

We're so excited to introduce you to the Hollar Family.  Jason, Megan, and Noah (3) will be with us the weekend of June 8-10th, candidating for our open associate's position.  They're such a special family, and we hope you'll all mark your calendars and block out time to come and get to meet them!  Jason will be speaking on Sunday morning, and then we will meet briefly afterwards.  God is so good, and we lift this precious family in our prayers and pray for God's direction for us all!  We hope you can join us!

Also, don't forget about our Celebration Sunday coming up on June 3rd!  We'll have a fried chicken picnic behind the church, after service, to celebrate our graduates, dedicate the playground, and kick off our VBS!  We are truly blessed and give God all praise!

Baptisms

We had a wonderful service yesterday morning, as we celebrated the baptisms of eight of our loved ones.  We pray God's blessings and protection for each of them and that we, their church family, would support them and hold them accountable in grace and truth!  We're so proud of you all!

Sky VBS!

Coming, June 4-8th!  9am-noon, M-F!  Ages 3+, and registration begins Easter Sunday at our morning worship, April 8th, 10:15am.  The more children the better!  And we'd love volunteers to help out as well!  Contact Jenessa at jenessaden@yahoo.com if you'd like to help!

Wednesday Nights

Our Wednesday Family Nights are booming.  Two weeks ago, we had 60 people and a full Fellowship Hall for supper, 34 youth, and 15 kids.  With all kids added in who have attended regularly, we're at about 20 kids!

All leaders are working to keep ahead of the momentum and to keep up; God is clearly working!!  If you haven't joined us on a Wednesday evening, you truly should bring the family out.  There's an energy in the air and we're so excited about all that God is doing!  The last week of the winter session is March 21st, and the Spring session starts on 4/11.

In the Narthex this week, there will be a sign-up sheet for our Wednesday night Children's ministry.  Please, please search your heart and pray about whether you can be in a rotation and help with the children on Wednesday nights.  God is moving, but we need YOU to be his hands and feet!

Princess Popstar and Robin Good!

We had an extremely special evening this past Friday night!  We had crafts, goodies, a movie, praise, bows and arrows, and all kinds of fun while learning that we are SO special and that God is SO good!  It was wonderful; thank you so much to everyone who helped!!

Spaghetti Supper

Thank you to all who helped with the Benefit supper for our coming Honduras trip! And thank you to all of our guests! It was a lovely evening for a lovely cause; thank you!

Walk a Mile 2012

After a balmy and warm winter, we were hit with a bitter cold day for the Muncie Mission Walk a Mile In My Shoes! But that's okay! We all got a chilling dose of what is reality and common for the homeless of our community. Thank you so much to our walkers and supporters! Pastor Raines and the Muncie Mission are doing such vital work; they are so worthy of our support.


This is about half of our group; sorry we didn't get there early enough for a true group shot everybody! Next year we will for sure.





The top giving church this year was at $1,600, and we were at about $1,050 ....we're excited to aim for being the top givers next year! Thank you again to all who gave!
