Memorial Day

Eaton was alive and humming today for the antique car show and hog roast! Our church family was involved in all corners and together with our town, we had so much fun.

Elaine and Jim Stottlemyer registered a couple of cars for the show! Here's one....Beautiful!

Jessie and Phil Hines worked hard with the boy scouts to serve hot pretzels and cheese, mouse ears, and cold drinks. They were such gentlemen, opening the doors for all who came through our doors!

Jessie worked her magic to set this arrangement up. Thank you Jessie!

And there was a whole crew of us who "manned" our rummage sale in the Family Life Center! The entire gym was full of rummage goods and booths with specialty items. Thursday evening, over a dozen people came to help us sort and price everything. It was no small task, and we thank them along with Zac, who had moved it all over from the church Thursday afternoon. Thank you!

For the big sale, our crew was again top notch and true superstars! At any point in the day, we had workers, there to do whatever was needed. Amazing!

What a day!

All glory to our savior!

Memorial Day

It's time to get excited about Memorial Day in Eaton! As we remember all who have fought and are fighting for our nation's freedom and safety, what better way is there to celebrate than a day full of America's best! A hog roast, hot breakfast in the gazebo, mini elephant ears from the boy scouts, plant sale, some serious rummaging, and more! It's smalltown USA at it's best!

Thank you God for our freedom, our sweet Eaton, our church family, and that we can combine all of those into one this Memorial Day!

Good-bye White!!

Enough can not possibly be said of those who continuously give of their time to help at the church. Today alone we had several examples. Starting with a group of men who showed up to move our pews to make room for painters tomorrow! Thank you to John Woolum who came and loosened every single bolt by himself last night, preparing the way for the men today. John and all of today's crew, you're awesome! Kenny Love, thank you for getting the crew together! If you haven't thanked Kenny lately, please, please do. There's no possible way to measure all that he does around here. But one of these blogs, I'm going to give it a try, just to give you a taste. But in the meantime, please go ahead and thank him!

Luella Linton came in and washed every single chair in our Sunday school classroom today! Luella, you're amazing!

Zac Lancaster, well that guy just does it all. Every week, Zac comes in and spends his free time helping here at the church. He's painted, he's organized, he's built snow tunnels....really and truly, he's done it all. Zac, you rock!
It's God's work in action. God bless every single one of you who jump in and help. There's no way to name you all, but know that you are ALL loved and everything you do is appreciated!!!!!!
Now, good-bye white walls!! :)

Memorial Day Sale!

Memorial Day in Eaton is going to be wonderful. From a hog roast, to baked goods and flowers, to funnel cakes, to antique cars......there will be no more American way to celebrate our freedom and brave freedom fighters!

AND, our church will be adding some good rummaging to the mix! The week before (May 24th to the 28th), you can donate pre-priced items to be sold in the Family Life Center. OR....you can purchase your own tables at $10.00/table and sell your own items! We already have some of Jack's wood work, Andy's Dad is setting up his coins (a must-see), and all of Pastor Andy's garage will be cleared out ;)

But we have lots of room! So think of how you want to help and join us! You can bake goods, sell photography, jewelry....be creative!

Call the church office ASAP to reserve your table(s)!!
