Christian Women Connection Kick-Off

This past Friday night our women had a special evening in celebration of a fresh start and face for our women's ministry. It was a beautiful evening together with delicious food, warm fellowship, and serene worship lead by our friend, Cathy Howie. It was wonderful, and we look so forward to future chances to connect!

It's Children of Promise Sunday! Pastor Andy shared this morning that there are currently 1,000 children living in sub-poverty conditions whose lives will be changed with a loving sponsor. Parents, this is an amazing teaching opportunity! This is a wonderful way to incorporate your children and show them the importance of sharing our blessings with those less fortunate.

What's Around the Corner

Can you even imagine what it would be like to walk where Jesus literally walked?!!! How amazing would that be?! Pastor Nikki was able to do just that, and tomorrow night she'll be sharing about her two week trip to Isreal. Everyone join us for some Frankie's pizza at 5:30 and then stay to hear Nikki shar about her experiences!


Also, lunch is on us, September 26th after church, for those who would like to learn more about our church and our staff. The pastors and their families will be there, ready to answer questions! Please call the church if you would like to attend.


AND, it's movie time again!! This Friday, in the Family Life Center, 7pm! We'll be watching, "Bolt!" Bring the whole family and every one you know :) We'll have coloring corners for restless.

Family Nights Are Underway!

Wednesday night was the kick-off for our fall family nights series! The church buzzed with happy chatter and busy little feet. It was wonderful!

Frankie's supplied our delicious beef and noodles over mashed potatoes for our 5:30 meal. Thank you Frankie's!! And, a big thank you to Anna and Linda for helping pull the rest of the meal together!



We're all trying to figure out the details, so their help was so appreciated! We could use just a few more hands to put things out and help clean up; let us know if you can help!

Fall

We have so many wonderful things in store for us this fall and winter! Here are reminders of what's coming!

Family nights are kicking off on September 8th!! Everyone join us at 5:30 for supper together; Frankie's is bringing chicken and noodles!! ($3/person or $10/family) 6:30 is classes for ALL ages! And 7:30 is choir practice!

Friday September 17th is our family movie night!! Come see Bolt, snack, let the kids color, and relax! 7pm

Friday September 24th, Women's night! Pitch-in dinner at 6pm and worship with Cathy Howie at 7pm! Rest, Reflect, Restore, Radiate....

October 5th and 7th our women's Beth Moore study begins! Tuesday morning at 9 or Thursday evening at 7pm. Truly, you'll want to make time for this in your lives!

Are your calendars up to date?! :) This is life together; time set aside to refuel for the rest of life "out there." Join us!
