Baptisms

We had a wonderful service yesterday morning, as we celebrated the baptisms of eight of our loved ones.  We pray God's blessings and protection for each of them and that we, their church family, would support them and hold them accountable in grace and truth!  We're so proud of you all!

Sky VBS!

Coming, June 4-8th!  9am-noon, M-F!  Ages 3+, and registration begins Easter Sunday at our morning worship, April 8th, 10:15am.  The more children the better!  And we'd love volunteers to help out as well!  Contact Jenessa at jenessaden@yahoo.com if you'd like to help!

Wednesday Nights

Our Wednesday Family Nights are booming.  Two weeks ago, we had 60 people and a full Fellowship Hall for supper, 34 youth, and 15 kids.  With all kids added in who have attended regularly, we're at about 20 kids!

All leaders are working to keep ahead of the momentum and to keep up; God is clearly working!!  If you haven't joined us on a Wednesday evening, you truly should bring the family out.  There's an energy in the air and we're so excited about all that God is doing!  The last week of the winter session is March 21st, and the Spring session starts on 4/11.

In the Narthex this week, there will be a sign-up sheet for our Wednesday night Children's ministry.  Please, please search your heart and pray about whether you can be in a rotation and help with the children on Wednesday nights.  God is moving, but we need YOU to be his hands and feet!

Princess Popstar and Robin Good!

We had an extremely special evening this past Friday night!  We had crafts, goodies, a movie, praise, bows and arrows, and all kinds of fun while learning that we are SO special and that God is SO good!  It was wonderful; thank you so much to everyone who helped!!

Spaghetti Supper

Thank you to all who helped with the Benefit supper for our coming Honduras trip! And thank you to all of our guests! It was a lovely evening for a lovely cause; thank you!

Walk a Mile 2012

After a balmy and warm winter, we were hit with a bitter cold day for the Muncie Mission Walk a Mile In My Shoes! But that's okay! We all got a chilling dose of what is reality and common for the homeless of our community. Thank you so much to our walkers and supporters! Pastor Raines and the Muncie Mission are doing such vital work; they are so worthy of our support.


This is about half of our group; sorry we didn't get there early enough for a true group shot everybody! Next year we will for sure.





The top giving church this year was at $1,600, and we were at about $1,050 ....we're excited to aim for being the top givers next year! Thank you again to all who gave!

New Ushers?

Thank you to our youth group for being our ushers this past Sunday!  And thank you to the ushers who took them under their wing!  (Don Poland, Kenny Love, etc.)  It's such a blessing to incorporate our young people into our worship, on all levels.....and they did a wonderful job!

 And thank you to Wesley Crouch for his sax solo; wonderful as always!  God is truly working in our young people; let's continue to lift them in our prayers!!
