Princesses and Cowboys!

I don't yet have pictures of our Cowboys, but they're coming! Both the Princesses and the Cowboys had such special evenings last night!! It was a movie night/special event to remember, and again I thank everyone who played a part!

Here are pictures from the Sweetpea Beauty evening!

At 7pm, the princesses of all ages starting arriving by "carriage." You should have seen their sweet, glowing faces!






We had snacks, thanks to the Tuesday morning LIFT ladies!!





And we had four stations, with fingernail painting, crafts, and coloring pages. Thank you Robin and Shelby for painting Princess nails!



































We dined while serenaded to Princess music :) Oh it was fun.





Princesses come in all ages you know! Thank you to Miss Kay for helping me host refreshments and clean up!

















Then we all went to the "royal palace" where Florentina had worked her decorating magic.





The girls got to come up on stage and watch two tales of princesses who learned about that true beauty is within and they are God's priceless creation.

It was a good night!! :)

Ash Wednesday

Last night we had a bustling sanctuary as our youth, children, babies, and adults gathered for an Ash Wednesday service. Pastor Nikki lead us as we wrote our sins on paper, burned them at the altar, and then were marked with the ashes. What a beautiful, tangible display of the cleansing Christ offers, and the unity of being one as a family.

It was beautiful.

As we've entered the Lenten season, turn your hearts to Christ. Let Him search you, cleanse you, and let this be a season of faithful, deliberate focus on our savior.

Lent/ Focus 40

Today's the beginning of Lent; join us at 6:30 this evening for an Ash Wednesday service. Search your hearts for something you can give up in trade for clearer focus on our Savior's sacrifice. Starting today, or join us starting 3/16 for Focus40.

AUCME

Thank you to Anderson University's AUCME team for coming and leading us in worship this morning! What a blessing to see young hearts running after Christ and leading others as they do!!

Art of Marriage

For weeks you heard us promote the Art of Marriage, a two-day marriage conference we were going to co-host with Northside Church of God in Muncie. And for weeks, you heard us tell you it would be awesome. And guess what! It was! All praise and thanks to God who truly blessed the 20 couples present this past weekend.

We are so excited, as a matter of fact, that we hope to offer the conference again, not too far down the road. This time it will be in Eaton and most likely in the fall. For all of you who were on the fringe this time around; step off of the fringe and dive in. And for those of you who knew you couldn't come, step onto the fringe and consider it for the fall! We will do whatever we can to help eliminate barriers; finances, childcare, etc. Talk to us; we believe in it that much.

Thank you to Pastor Jeff and Cheryl Veatch for being an amazing team! What a joy and a blessing to partner with Northside! They were the perfect hosts!

We'll be learning what TRUE BEAUTY looks like. What an important lesson for princesses of ALL ages!
We'll have a snack, a craft, and we'll be watching....



Princesses are welcome to dress up! And for all of the princes, Pastor Nikki will be having movies and fun in the FAMILY LIFE CENTER!
